Wow, Carol, Really nice work. Good marriage of simple form that works well with the surface treatment.
You might be interested in Googling Jason Walker's work. He's an artist who is living in Seattle and does graphics using underglaze, drawing by hand. Currently he is teaching at U. of WA.
I'm in Tucson for the winter. This is my first year here, so it's nice to know there's great potters in the area.
Are you looking forward to NCECA in Phoenix in '09?
Hi Carol, These pieces are timeless! Beautiful forms married to storied images. I love having heard of your vision a few years ago, and now seeing it realized is a joy! Shannon
I've been lurking on clay art for years, and just now have the time to start working. What you do is so spectacular, I think I better stay with coffee mugs!!
I am a potter working in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pottery on this page is porcelain and is fired at Cone 10 reduction and Cone 6 oxidation. The drawings are created with ceramic inks. Contact me directly for info about my work, or visit me during the Arizona State University Ceramic Research Center Studio Tour.

Ah, yes....Jason. I've watched his work closely. Inspiration. We're all getting excited about NCECA being in Phoenix. Thanks for the comments. Carol
